How the Erecgen® Treatment works
Growth factors within platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can contribute to healing through tissue repair, creation of new vasculature (blood supply), and nerve repair & regeneration.
Blood draw (~60mL)
A small amount of the patient’s own blood is drawn and prepared for processing.
Centrifuge & PRP
Platelets are concentrated into PRP, separating beneficial components from red blood cells.
Comfort measures
Surface anesthetic creams and/or injected anesthesia may be used to minimize discomfort.
Targeted injections
PRP is delivered with a small needle along the corpora cavernosa. You can typically leave and resume your day.
The Erecgen® Treatment is performed using an advanced PRP processing system. Not all PRP is processed the same. Our system is designed to deliver high platelet concentrations and growth factors while removing red blood cells & neutrophils to reduce pain & inflammation.

How painful is the procedure?
Care is taken to minimize any pain, through the use of a number of available techniques; this may include surface anesthetic creams, or injected anesthesia. The goal is to make the procedure as painless as possible.
What kind of results are typical?
The majority of patients experience a firmer erection & increased sensation. As well, a size increase is possible in both length & girth. Results may vary, but generally most men see a 1/4–1/2 inch increase in length, and a 1/4–1/2 inch increase in girth.
How long before results can be seen?
It takes approximately three to four weeks before the healing factors, delivered via the injections, begin to do their work of repairing damaged tissue, and creating growth of new blood vessels & nerves. This new growth & tissue regeneration can continue for up to 4 months and the results can be long lasting, or even permanent.
How many treatments are needed?
This depends on many factors, which involve each patient's individual set of circumstances. However, most patients achieve the desired outcome through one treatment, while some patients can opt for a second treatment after 3 months. Follow-up treatments can boost healing and bring further enhancement of results experienced from the initial treatment.
Is this treatment effective for everyone?
Every potential candidate must be evaluated in detail, by the physician, in order to determine if the treatment is appropriate. Not everyone will be a suitable candidate for this procedure.
Is this treatment covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, at this time, this treatment is usually not covered by most insurance providers.
