Female Pelvic Health Solutions Offered at SageMED
The GynoGEN™ Program at SageMED is a structured care pathway that combines pelvic floor therapy, device-based strengthening, and regenerative options when appropriate to support bladder control, pelvic comfort, and intimate wellness.
This program is designed for people who want a plan, not guesswork. We start with an assessment, match therapies to your symptoms and goals, and track progress over a short series of visits.
What is the GynoGEN Program?
GynoGEN is SageMED’s coordinated program for pelvic health support. Instead of offering a one-off appointment with generic recommendations, the program organizes care into a clear pathway:
Evaluation & Pelvic Assessment
Comprehensive consultation including medical history, symptom assessment, and baseline pelvic floor evaluation.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Your clinician designs a customized protocol combining the most effective modalities for your specific needs.
In-Office Treatments
Comfortable, guided sessions in our private treatment suites. Most treatments are quick, non-invasive, and require no downtime.
Follow-Up & Progress Tracking
Regular check-ins to monitor improvements, adjust your plan, and ensure optimal long-term results.
The goal is to support pelvic floor function and tissue comfort using evidence-informed options, while keeping the process understandable and patient-centered.
Who the Program is For
You may be a good fit for GynoGEN if you're experiencing one or more of the following:
- Bladder leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercise
- Urgency or frequent urination that disrupts daily life
- A feeling of weakness, heaviness, or reduced pelvic support
- Vaginal dryness or discomfort that affects intimacy
- Reduced sensation or changes after childbirth or aging
- Pelvic discomfort that worsens with activity, sitting, or intercourse
- Postpartum changes and rehabilitation goals
- Midlife hormonal transition concerns (perimenopause and menopause)
Not sure?
Many patients book because they "don't know what's normal." That's exactly what the initial assessment is for.
Your Treatment Options
GynoGEN plans may include one or more of the services below.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Personalized pelvic floor rehabilitation to improve strength, coordination, and relaxation for better bladder control, comfort, and day-to-day function.
What it targets:
strength, coordination, relaxation, and control
Why it's included:
Pelvic floor issues are not always "weakness." Some are tension, poor coordination, or compensatory patterns. Therapy addresses the root mechanics and helps improve control over time.
Typical flow: a series of visits with progress milestones and home guidance.
Emsella® Chair (HIFEM)
A non-invasive, chair-based treatment that stimulates deep pelvic floor contractions to help strengthen control and support leakage improvement without downtime.
What it targets:
pelvic floor strength and neuromuscular engagement
Why it's included:
Emsella may be used when you need a non-invasive boost in pelvic floor activation and strength, especially for leakage and baseline weakness.
Session feel: seated treatment with muscle engagement sensations. Time: typically around 28 minutes per session. Downtime: usually none.
EMFEMME 360™ (Radiofrequency)
A gentle radiofrequency treatment designed to support vaginal tissue comfort, hydration, and firmness, often used for dryness and midlife tissue changes.
What it targets:
vaginal tissue comfort and tissue support
Why it's included:
EMFEMME may be used when dryness, tissue discomfort, or changes related to midlife transitions are a primary concern.
Session feel: gentle warmth. Downtime: typically none.
Focused Shockwave
Targeted acoustic wave therapy used to support circulation and tissue response, often included for pelvic comfort and sensitivity goals.
What it targets:
circulation support and tissue response in targeted areas
Why it's included:
Focused Shockwave may be incorporated for comfort and sensitivity support as part of a broader pelvic wellness plan.
Session feel: quick and typically well-tolerated. Downtime: minimal.
Pelvic Floor PRP
A regenerative option using concentrated platelets from your own blood to support tissue quality and comfort when dryness, sensitivity changes, or recovery support are part of the plan.
What it targets:
tissue quality support and regenerative signaling
Why it's included:
PRP may be considered when the goal includes tissue comfort, dryness support, and sensitivity changes, particularly when other conservative measures are not enough.
PRP overview: a small blood draw is processed to concentrate platelets, then applied to selected areas based on exam findings. Topical anesthetic is used for comfort.
Downtime: some patients may need short activity modifications.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about treatment comfort, planning, and expected recovery.
Will the treatments hurt?
Most GynoGEN services are very well tolerated. Sensations vary by treatment and may include gentle warmth, muscle engagement, or mild pressure. Comfort measures such as topical numbing or lower-intensity settings are available when needed.
What concerns can GynoGEN address?
GynoGEN supports bladder leaks, urgency, pelvic floor weakness, vaginal dryness, reduced sensation, pelvic discomfort, and changes related to childbirth, aging, or hormonal transitions.
How is my GynoGEN treatment plan chosen?
Your plan is based on a comprehensive pelvic health assessment. Some women benefit from a single service, while others achieve the best results through a combination of therapies tailored to their needs.
Will one treatment be enough?
Some women notice improvement after one session, while others benefit most from a short series. Your provider will outline expectations and adjust your plan as your body responds.
Is there any downtime?
Many GynoGEN treatments allow same-day return to normal activities. Some regenerative services may require brief activity modifications for 24–48 hours.
