Dr. Steven LaBrecque is currently the Resident Physician at SageMED in Bellevue. He obtained his medical doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, where he also served as a physical medicine teaching assistant.
Dr. LaBrecque earned his Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, psychology, and biomedical sciences from Central Michigan University. He then went on to complete his Master of Public Health (MPH) from Michigan State University, with a concentration in health policy. While completing the MPH, he realized the severity of the primary care gap in the United States and decided to become a primary care physician that emphasized disease prevention and health promotion. During medical school, he served on the Board of Directors for the Naturopathic Medical Student Association and Integrative Health Policy Consortium.
In clinical practice, Dr. LaBrecque focuses on men’s health, primary care, regenerative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement, urgent care services, environmental medicine and detoxification, weight loss, and LGBT health. He also has pursued post-doctoral training in Functional Medicine with the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Prior to living in Seattle, Dr. LaBrecque lived in Florida and Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer, learning new languages, and cooking.
