School’s heading back in for another year and a lot of kiddos (and their teachers and parents due to association) may be hit with a back to school cold as they all start sharing germs in a small space once again.
What can we do to help increase our kid’s immune function and prevent this possible influx of illness?
Teach them proper hygiene and then really drill it into their heads:
Hand washing after using the restroom: every time!
Hand washing after coming in from recess or when they come home/come in from outside.
Hand washing before preparing and eating meals.
Hand washing after touching eyes/nose/mouth. (Their own or others’.)
Hand washing after cleaning up a wound/cut.
Hand washing after taking out the garbage.
Hand washing after caring for a pet.
What is the proper way to wash hands: I’m glad you asked!
